Is it possible to run a trail file when publishing Creo Drawings?

Just wondering if it is possible to run a trail file when publishing Creo drawings? The reason being, we currently create PDF files from within Creo by running a mapkey which uses a batch file to extract our description and the revision of the drawing and plots to a postscript file which is converted to PDF using ghostscript and the file is renamed to include the filename revision and description (filenameRev? - Description). And with the standard PDF publishing all we get is the filename.pdf

I'm open to any other suggestions.

Thanks in advance

David.

Take a look at the Windchill Visualization Services Guide (10.2-M010). It talks about publishing rules and substitution keys which can be used when naming files (page 41). I think this will do what you're looking for.
