Modifying Team Instances

Please see attached one-slide Powerpoint. I had a webex with tech support on this 10 days ago. Seemed very straight-forward to find the answer but no answer yet. Wondering if anyone has solved this.

As with Guests and the Product List a while back, its possible that this
is not an ACL. It could be some rule buried in the code, hardcoded to a
Role name.

A bit more fooling with this shows that the Manager of any Product/Library has the Add Role tool, unrelated to any ACL. We'd like these people to have Add Role but not be the Manager.

We just recieve from the tech support a temp patch concerning the "-"
button.
because it permits to all users with "team instances" modify rights , to
remove participant AND Roles
