Can someone explain to me what the change domain permission would be for?

Hi Greg,

The change domain permission is to move any object from one domain to another.

for ex., if a role want to move any object from one domain to another then the selected role should have change domain permission in the source domain and create by mover permission in the destination domain and modify permission in both domains.

So a normal user should not have change domain permission? We have one organization.

yes Greg you are correct, a normal user should not have change domain permission. Mostly a Product Manager or similar role who has significant knowledge about the product as well as PDMLink rules, consequences should be eligible for such permissions...
