preventing "SAVE AS" to specific folders

Currently I see no clear way to prevent users from creating duplicate library objects i.e. formats, once created and used they are not eligable to be deleted because of the referential error to the drawing, sometimes hardware is duplicated and now exist in the DB with the default _ suffix. There should be a way to prevent this action, maybe by folder or library, just being at Released state does not prevent it.

This would be customization.

You can create action filter/validator logic.

It would allow you to bypass default behavior of the Save As action.

The customizer's guide discusses these.

I am working on a utility I plan to give away to handle such a scenario if you can be patient with a little longer and then you will not need to do much to use it.
