&Proi_Revision lost?

Hi all,

This one is hard (for me) to explain. This week I encountered a new problem
with revisions in Intralink 3.4 not automatically populating in some
drawings. I've done a fast search in the archives for this problem with no
luck.

We make copies of parts all the time, with the drawing of that part being
copied with it. SOP for quite some time. With WF4.0 (as I remember) we
started getting *** instead of the revision in the title block. No
problem, placing the format again (removing all tables) brought the revision
of the model properly.

Suddenly, when we are placing the format we are getting prompted:
"Enter text for the parameter "Proi_Revision" [NONE]"

Nothing seems to get to populate the model's revision properly.

Any ideas would be greatly appreciated.

Update... thanks for all the replies. Yes, I am doing a "save as" in Pro
to make the copy. A work around I just used was to make yet another copy
of the model (with the drawing following along), replace the format &
whammy, I got the proper rev! Delete the bad one, rename the good one,
force the check in... fixed. Weird.

Thanks again. Here's hoping these are just an anomaly & this problem will
go away.
