Question
Remote file server reboot
Designation: Non-SSA/Finmeccanica
Hi everyone,
I have a question regarding the reboot of our Intralink 9.1 servers. I
recently when live with a remote file server and wondered about the
sequence of rebooting servers. When I have to halt Intralink/Windchill
services I normally stop Windchill and then Oracle (running on a
secondary server). My question are;
1. At what time do I stop the remote File Server?
2. When do I restart the File Server, do I wait until Oracle and
Windchill have finished?
3. Does it matter?
I ask because I need to coordinate with a remote admin.
