Removing Instances from Family Tables in PDMLink.doc

This is an adaption to TPI 141775, How to Delete a Family Table Instance From Windchill. This procedure was developed to assist in removing large numbers of instances from large family tables.  I have used this many times with PDMLink 9.1 and Wildfire 4.  Included are SQL and batch scripts that you can use to analyze your family table usage.

    Antonio,

    Cool process, but I have a question.   On step 10 of the document you create new files for the deleted family instances.  From what I understand, these files will be empty?

      It could be an empty part file but not just a empty text file.  I used a start part. The basic idea is that its a small file since you will be generating a lot of them. They are also temporary and will be removed at the end of this procedure.
