Revise within Project?

Greetings,

I have used Project to organize project documents, requirements and testing documents around Windchill PDMLink deployment and upgrades.

The problem is that now these documents should be revised and that does not seem to be an option in Project.

Question.

Is it worth the effort to "Send to PDM" so they can be revised know that it will leave a copy on the PDM side?

Or,

Should I just Export all the documents, Import them into a new Library and then renumber them back to the original numbers created in Project (as the numbers are referenced all over these documents).
