Winchill Intralink 10 M010 Install Time

I am preping for an upgrade from WI9.1 M050 to WI10.0 M010.


When test installing WI 10.0 M010 and it has been taking about 12+ hours to complete. I believe it is during the Oracle install section that is taking the most time. WI 10.0 F000 takes less than a couple of hours total on the same machine. I have done each version multiple times.


Everything eventually installs properly and I am able to do the upgrade. Waiting 12+ hours for a single step in the upgrade process is a little much.


Anybody else had this issue and found a resolution?

I recently installed Windchill 10.0 M010 on a 32 bit laptop (PDMLink + ProjectLink, no other items checked). Total time less than 1 hour following database install.
