Windchill 9.1 - Rendering readonly Workflow variables in HTML format

In Windchill 8 a readonly workflow variable which has a value

This is bold

is rendered as

This is bold

in the workflow task
But in WIndchill 9.1 I found that the variable is rendered as
just

This is bold

This is a problem since we are rendering even tables in the workflow
variables.
Is there any workaround?

Thanks
Vivek

Wow - We'll need to look at this very closely. Every one of our workflow assignment instructions in every workflow has HTML tags for bold, color, etc.

If anyone knows the fix, please advise ASAP.

Mike I think this issue is specifically Workflow Variables and not Activity Instructions.

I've seen what Vivek is talking about. I tried to add some HTML to a workflow variable and it didn't render it as HTML instead it displayed all the html markup tags as text.

I have had success with sending the variables to an email that contained HTML and it would render it correctly.

I don't know if this could exactly help in this case, but try putting com.ptc.netmarkets.outputFilter property to false. It looks that this property filters HTML rendering in some pages for Windchill 9. Perhaps in this case it does too.
