Question

Windchill non networked? How to?

I work for a PTC var so I need my virtual servers to run non networked too.

I have this virtualbox running:

OS: CentOS 5.7

Oracle 11g + LISTENER

Apache

WindchillDS

Windchill ProjectLink 10.0 M010

Cognos 8.0

Now this is for the gurus, it works flawlessly wired into my network, but once I remove the network cable the method server keeps restarting with the "socket timeout" error, I supose the problem is related with oracle/listener, my problem is that I dont have a oracle/linux specialist with me right now to help.

Does Oracle runs non networked? If yes do I need any configuration? I am out of Ideas and PTC wont give me support because I am not using one of their standard vms for demonstrations...

Any thougths would be greatly appreciated!

Warm Regards

Guilherme,

Edit your /etc/resolv.conf to look like this when not connected to a network.

domain local domain
search localdomain
nameserver 127.0.0.1
