Windchill PDMLink Upgrade 9.x to 10.0

Hello All,

I am going to go for an upgrade job from Windchill PDMLink 9.0 or 9.1 to 10.0. My questions is: "Does the upgrade guide fulfill all the steps or are there any other steps involved without which upgrade cannot be performe?" Also, I've noticed that Windchill 9.x doesn't use migrators oppose to Windchill 8.0 to 9.0 upgrade. Is it true?

Please suggest. Any documented procedure or work instruction note would be a great help.

Chris,

As far as executing an upgrade to 10.0 is concerned, the Upgrade guide contains all the steps required for a successful upgrade project. Of course, many times customers use the upgrade project as a time to do other IT activities, such as upgrading hardware, ect. that are not covered in the guide.

The 10.0 Windchill upgrade does use migrators under the cover just like Windchill 8.0 and 9.0 upgrades did.
