Question

Windchill rehosting to a server with different hostname and domain name

Hello All,

I am rehosting R9.1 M040 PDMLink/ProjectLink to another server (different host name and different domain name).
Rehost manual provides information about the ant script that will do the changes. But in my case, the source system and target system are in different network and cannot be accessed from one another.
On R8, we used to import source system LDAP and then swap the target system control branch.
Are there any documented steps for R9.1 Windchill DS.

Thanks,

Saravanan,

The Rehost process is fairly well documented for 9.1, and it's also much
better than in 8.0. There's an ant script that does all of the updates to
the ldap and properties files. Look for the Rehost Guide on ptc.com for
details.
