Our IT department needs to clean up inactive Active Directory accounts and are questioning an account "Windchill_SQL_SRV"

Was this created when I installed Windchill? Is it OK for them to disable it?

It could be the account that is actually running Windchill/SQLServer as a Windows Service.
It is MS’s recommendation to have a dedicated account to run application services.

If it isn’t the running account, then disable and see what happens! ☺
