windows 7 clients cannot see workspaces in Windchill 10.1 with Creo elements pro5

We just went live with Windchill 10.1. Windows 7 clients cannot see their workspace in Creo Elements Pro 5 M160. They get the Java spinning wheel of death. This is only in Creo. With Internet explorer there is no problem with logging in and seeing all the data on the server side.

Windows XP clients have no problem at all.

We are trying different versions of Java but no success yet.

Has anyone else seen this before?

Steven,
First, check the Task Bar for the login window. We noticed that on Win7 that it comes up behind the ProE application window.
If that isn't the case, have them delete their WC folder (ProE startup location/WC) and re-register the server.

This wasn't tested before going live?

Have you turned the display back to Classic Windows and turned off the Aero effects of Win7?

Delete the caches and register server again.

We just went to 10.1 and Creo Elements/Pro 5 (M150). I have not seen any issues with either XP or Win7 in particular, but have noticed that if users have Java 7.xxx there are issues. I have also played with Win7 and M160 without these issues as well. Java should be a 6.x release, and we have used 6.35 and later with good success.
