Hi. I want use non persistable class to wrap data for table row in ComponentBuilder. But i get the exception: Error while adding component data java.lang.NullPointerException at com.ptc.core.components.beans.DataUtilityBean.getRowOid(DataUtilityBean.java:610) at com.ptc.core.components.beans.DataUtilityBean.doFirstPass(DataUtilityBean.java:584) at com.ptc.core.components.command.delegate.ModelCommandDelegate.execute(ModelCommandDelegate.java:182) What should i do? Is it possible use custom class for this purpose? I can't find any code example in Help Center/Customization guide. Thanks.

Little help with this please. Anyone know why a given Role (in this case Change Administrator) is able to modify the CR team in all the Product containers except one and not any Library? I have all my access Policy controls set at Org level including Team object (Ready, Modify). The Actions per role on the team page are also the same for each location?  

I have been tasked with installing CATIA CAA RADE V5-6R2016 SP3 on a client's machine. I've installed VS (Visual Studio) 2008 SP1 and VS 2012 Update 4 with hotfixes, as suggested in Dassault Systemes' (publisher of CATIA) program directory:   But, I am unable to integrate RADE into Visual Studio. Could it have anything to do with the parenthetical statements in the second column: "CRT and MFC Redistributables are delivered with V5 media..."? What are CRT and MFC distributables? Hi, I want to know is there any way i can pass the username and password in the Windchill url so that the user need not enter it when accessing the secured resource so the pop up box does not appear.   i.e.  https://SITE/Windchill/rfa/logout/LogOutRedirect.jsp ?j_username="test"&j_password="test"   Or if there is a way we can do this through a TomCat Server

Community members -   Do a lot of you use the check for duplicate models capability in ModelCheck? If so, does it work well for you? Anyone know of any good videos/information demonstrating this capability?

Greetings, We are on V11, M020. My Doc Control group is able to modify the Members on the Change Team on a Change Notice but I do not see the same ability on a Variance.   Anyone know how to provide that ability.  

In Windchill 10.2 the Subject (PBO) is above the Instructions section.  In Windchill 11.0 the Subject (PBO) is below the deadline.  We would like to move it back up to above the Instructions.   I'm trying to figure out  what is controlling the configuation.  Our workflow tasks are set to use JPS (Default).  I have found another post indicated that if the workflow task activity is set to use JPS the Task Info Page Layout from the Work Item object in the Type and Attribute Management is used.  When I look at the Task Info Page Layout, the Subject is in the correct locations.  I have also looked at the Task From Templates (default JSP), but I don't have an JSP editor to test moving the Subject (PBO).  I have also opened a call with PTC, but they told me I would have to talk to the customization team.  I have attached some screen shots.  

Hello all,    I am trying to write a code that can open an EPM Document in CREO through Windchill Workgroup Manager so that I can download the file with proper links because contentwriter is removing leading zeroes from the .prt number , due to which the links with the drawing are not coming properly and I am not able to open the downloaded .prt file in CREO .If anyone has faced this issue can he/she tell me the solution .

Hi I have a problem that is pending for 2 weeks now, and I can't find the cause of it. I have a call to a method inside a java expression that looks like this;  The method executes and I see results in the bg method server but when the method terminates it gives next error; I am sure I am returning a String. obsResult is defined as a Java string in the properties of the Approval process. What can be the cause of this error, please help ?  

I have modeled a gearbox casing which consist of three different sub assemblies(Top, Middle and bottom which was modeled in TOP-DOWN approach) composed of fabricated steel plates using CREO-2.0 for structural analysis. I have provided fastener connection between these three sub assemblies. In each sub assemblies, I have used weldment feature for joining the different plates(It is also defined under simulate menu). During meshing(AutoGEM) I'm geting 4 errors in the diagnostics tab as following.   1. Creo Simulate removed some small curves from the model. The removal tolerance is set from the Geometry Tolerance dialog box (AutoGEM > Geometry Tolerance). Fewer curves are removed if you decrease the Minimum Curve Dimension value. 2. AutoGEM may not be able to complete because the volume boundaries either intersect or overlap near the highlighted surfaces 3. And this case https://support.ptc.com/appserver/cs/view/solution.jsp?n=CS234435 tells you how to complete the work item once you have it. But from the records I get through a SQL query, I have the unique key for the work item (idA2A2 from table WorkItem), but how do I get the WorkItem object in code from this unque key.   If I try a search condition such as SearchCondition condition = new SearchCondition(WorkItem.class, WorkItem.IDENTITY, SearchCondition.EQUAL, iWorkItemId); I get an error that says Caused by: Attribute "identity" is not a member of class "class wt.workflow.work.WorkItem"   If I try SearchCondition condition = new SearchCondition(WorkItem.class, "workitem.persistinfo.key.id", SearchCondition.EQUAL, iWorkItemId); I get a similar error. &nb

Hello All,  Is there a way to change the revision number of a Windchill document upon approval? For example the regular revision order is A.1, A.2, A.3 ect ect, but say the document was approved after revision A.2. Is there a way for the revision to jump to B.1 after approval? So the revision number order would be A.1, A.2, B.1, B.2 until the next round of approvals. We are tyring to devise a system to easily separate major and minor revisions of a document. Thank you!

I'm having trouble publishing Vector pdf from a figure authored in creo illustrate as c3di file. Inservice is publishing the 3D IPD but the arbortext publishing engine publishes pdf only with the screen captured raster figure and not as vector illustration.I'm using Windchill 10.2 M032 CPS10. with SIM for S1000D 10.2, and Service Parts also 10.2SIM S1000D & PE has no vector publishing from c3di file?Thanks,John.
