Windchill Customization

As a user, the actions in the Windchill UI should have a tool tip message coming from the action validator class. The tool tip message can be used to communicate to the user why a particular action is disabled. Lot of time a user is not clear why a particular action is not enabled which may be because of multiple conditions being checked in the validator class.

How to export a document (WTDocument) structure, including content and attachments. The OOTB export from the document information page provides a zip with xml and content (including attachments) for the primary document but NOT it's children. Is there a way to expand this to include children and their attachments?

Hi,     When windchill starts, it takes some time to initialize ServerManager, BackgroundMethodServer and MethodServer. So, in that after initialization, Method server shows 'MethodServer ready (in 432.07 secs)' time to start the complete windchill, So I just want to know can we decrease this time. Hi my users want to use PDM Link to be the document and life cycle manager for some point cloud surface modeling software called Leica Cyclone. It generates a native file format called .imp file which has stored within it suface models and associated XML and .jpgs. There are also other native files.I don't need to open these in CREO I just want to use Windchill to track the revisions, give names, and manage their life cycle. Has anyone done something similar to this and if so how did you go about doing it?I am using PDM LInk 10.2 CPS22.Thank you.
