The "General View" shows all version of a part. To show only the latest versions from a view you can create a new view (called "Alternate Latest") which can be exactly the same as "General" view with the exception that you should add some filters in plus at step "Set Filters":

Result:

Created filter can be exported and reimported during build if needed.
