Assembly level extrusions in layers

I needed to do a couple extrusions to remove material within my assembly and I need them on separate layers so only one shows at a time. When I stick the extrusion on a layer and then hide the layer, the hole I extruded is still there. Does anyone know if I can do something like this?

Hi,

You have to use suppress command to "hide" solid geometry.
