Cache size has exceeded the target limit

Hello PTC Community,

I get this message: Cache has exceeded the target limit. Deleting workspace frames may help reducing the cache size.

What does this message mean?

Is there a way to increase this target limit size?

Where to delete workspace frames and will that do any damage to any models or assemblies?

Thank you

Seems that I have gotten lazy and used eSupport community when I should have done the research myself and it is in the links below.
