Hi All,

Trying to open up our vendors Solidworks 2016 parts and assemblies,  but nothing appears to happen... is there something that needs to be configured to get this to work?

Thanks in advance

No. https://support.ptc.com/appserver/cs/view/solution.jsp?n=CS134024

Only up to solidworks 2015. This is normal for conversion type software, they can't keep up with the latest releases.

Hi,

on 11-December-2015 I opened Case at PTC support - https://support.ptc.com/apps/case_logger_viewer/auth/ssl/case=12859749 (I think it is not viewable for you). I am waiting until now, because product manager responsible of this technical area is out of the office, and will be available on Jan 7th 2016.

Hi,

I think that Solidworks 2015 service pack 5 file format does not have be equal to Solidworks 2016 file format. What is your opinion ?
