copy and paste curves or surfaces and decal

Hi,

I'm pretty sure (but not very sure) that it's possible to copy and paste a curve or a surface and translate it, rotate...

Something like "special paste" in MS office...

Can't remember how.

Was it possible in the pass or was it a dream ?
