Creo 3.0 not responding after 1 or 2 seconds.

Hey All!

My Creo Parametric 3.0 M030 is not responding after 2 seconds in the program..

 

I re-installed everything already, nothing worked .It got even worse. After the first Install of the program it was just lagging like hell every 5 seconds but it was working. Now after I installed it again it wont work at all.

I run windows 8 and I have the recommended specs on my Computer.

- 16Gb DDR 3 RAM

- ATI Radeon HD7950 3Gb Boost

- SSD (where also Creo is installed)

- I5-3570K

 

If i run other programs like Creo Layout or Direct it works like a charm...but not the important program Parametric

Please Help!

I got it now! Even with the Creo 3.0 M030

You need to change a parameter in your config.pro located ...\PTC\Creo 3.0\M030\Common Files\text

and add "graphics win32_gdi"

now it works like a charm!

My colleague had same problem with M030. We reverted him back to M020 untill we figure the problem out.

    Thanks for the quick reply. I know it sounds stupid but i cant find the M020 version.

    I got the student license. I can either download the 3.0 M030 or the 2.0.

    send email to - and ask PTC "How to download Creo 3.0 M020".

      how about the graphics config setting?

      opengl or win64?
