Even though my CPU is running well within range while program is open (rarely over 40-50%), the program is running very slowly. The disk runs high as expected until program is open, then it goes back down to a low percentage of use. I have an i7-5500U @2.4GHz processor with 8GB ram.... any suggestions???
Typically its a graphics card issue... Creo 2.0 incredibly slow on Lenovo Y510P
First try updating your graphics card drivers.
