Custom symbol

I have created a custom symbol in the drawing file, but i am unable to retrieve the symbol in another file. How do i locate the symbol?

Did you save the symbol out?

\Symbol Gallery\Write (chose the symbol) (define the location).

They you should be able to search in that location while you are in the new drawing.

    Kevin,

    After writing the symbol to specified directory, I am able to insert in the new drawing. Thanks a lot, it is working now!!!
