Hi,

I wanted to do a very trivial operation: create a reference datum plane in a drawing view.

I did, but the message, with a yellow exclamation point, was:

   Feature was created, but is not currently displayable in any view.

The plane was in the "Datums" category on the view and in the Assembly, but was dimmed. The only operation I could do, as far as I tried, was "erase-unerase".

What happened?

Try un-hiding layers in layer tree on the drawing view.

Are you referring to a GD&T set datum? I typically make these in the model simply to make sure I am getting the plane defined exactly as I want it.

Yes. But also in the drawing should be defined as "you want".
