How to import a STEP file into a Creo 3 start part file?

Suhair,

Do you want to import step file using start part template or import in start part itself?

When importing in Creo 3.0 check "Use templates" in Import new model dialog to use start part template.

About import in start part, use Get Data > Import

Open a new part using your start part file. In the model tab, use GET DATA drop down arrow, IMPORT, select your step file from your file system.

Thank you so much for your responses. I was able to import into the start part file by selecting a template
