part name not displayed in status bar while selection

Hi,

Can anyone know how to make part name/no. appear in status bar while selecting in assembly

set the config.pro option

show_selected_item_id yes

Hello Keith,

We had already tries but It was not working.

My Problem:

In assembly file whenever i was selected any part , we want that part details display in Statusbar.
