Sheetmetal Parameters

Is there any other parameter name related to the overall Length and width of a sheet metal part,?

As you mentioned in excel file you can get SMT_FLAT_PATTERN_WIDTH & SMT_FLAT_PATTERN_LENGTH values in drawing by adding feature ID's. However FID varies from part to part, in this case you can try using feature name for Flat Pattern instead of ID. Again there will be another problem, we cannot use regular name of flat feature that is Flat pattern 1 as there are spaces in that. If we will rename the feature to remove spaces, you can use that name in drawing without ID's.

As example:

After creating flat pattern, rename the pattern feature as Flat_pattern

In drawing add note as &SMT_FLAT_PATTERN_WIDTH:FID_Flat_pattern


Using this process you need to only rename the feature without looking in ID. This will populate the value for parameter.

    This is a big help since its faster to rename the feature rather than changing and getting the feature ID..
