Hello Everyone,I am new to Integrity and have the below mentioned problem to be solved:-I have created a query backed relationship field (QBR), lets call it XYZ.XYZ is supposed to generate a list of items (based on an already defined query) of type ABC.This query does contain 5 items and can be generated. But when used in a QBR, am not able to see the lsit of items.XYZ is one of the fields of type EFG. IJK is another field of EFG and when creating a new item of type EFG, this field IJK has to be checked against the entries listed in XYZ. If it is present in the lsit, the item of type EFG is not allowed to be created. The problem here is that I am unable to see the list of XYZ anywhere, either while creating the type EFG item or afterwards.Could someone please help me out here and tell me how exactly a QBR can be set up and where to see the generated table of items?Thanks!

Hi @all,i have a query like this:im issues --fields=id,<userfield> --qeryDefinition=(bla bla bla...)If i run this query i get a list which contains item-id and the username from the field <userfield>. But i need the mail-address which is linked to this user. Is it possible to see this mail-address instead of the username? Thanks,kind regards, Jens

Hi @all,we're working intensively with trigger-generated mail-notifications for our users. Since some time more and more of the users are working at external suppliers and there is a company-directive, that we have to encrypt mails which are adressed to external persons. Our mail-gateway has an option to encrypt outgoing mails autmatically, if they have a confidential flag (in outlook-mails). Is it possible to set this flag from within (per example) the javamail-triggerscript? Thanks for your input...regards, Jens

Hi all,I currently working on a custom Re-Import parser for the I10.2 gateway.During inspection of the xsl samples that come with the installationthe intermediate IIF files that are produce during import and all documentation i could findI got a little confused about the ID handling.There are 3 different "IDs" in the iif File schema ...<mks:Children><mks:Item mksid="143127" id="3" prototype="CONTENT"><mks:Field name="IssueId"/> ...Name Assumed meaning idthe temporary ID of the item node that is generated during the parsing process.( more or less a enumerator )mksidobviously the integrity internal ID used for mapping with the server's valuesIssueIDmaybe the same as the mksid ???Can anybody help me clarifying this?I'd like to know which one of these ID I can/must fill in my parser script with what values to get a working re-import.

I'm working with several development projects that want to start using Jenkins and our MKS Source 2009 repositories. Since the use of Jenkins or CI tools in general is still very new here, there is reluctance in allowing our Jenkins server to connect straight to our production repository server until we get some more experience. I've managed to negotiate a compromise where we can connect Jenkins to a "test" MKS Source Server and allow it to pull code from there. However for that to work I need a way for the changes committed to our production repository to get pushed to the test server, ideally every few minutes. Any suggestions on a fast, stable method for sending changes from one server to the other?

My question here is, is it possible to pull information from an item (say a checked-in text file) to be used within another item that is being created based upon information entered within certain fields? This is an integrated review tool/item that will ultimately parse through a set of checklists and allow the user to select one of three that are available, for example.

Hi everyone,we're using Integrity 10.1 on OpenSuse 12 and Hudson 2.2.1 on Windows XP with the Integrity-Plugin 1.16.It occurs sporadically, that Integrity don't synchronize several members. Sometimes an older file is on hdd, though the plugin write in the log, that the new one checked out. Sometimes new member are not checked out actually.The option "clean workspace" decelerated the build-process and didn't resolve it at all time.I can't find helpful informations in the log-files. Maybe someone can help?!

So I have provided access by clicking arrow that leads to assigned state which enable group to change.What is difference between Item ediability and permission in workflow state change option of TYPE in Integrity Admin client. Hi,Is a knowledge base created when i create a request in MKS 2007 or higher version?I am currenlty using MKS 2007 and MKS 2009..I want a system where in the users enters the subject of the case and all the logged cases with similar words appear so that the user does not create a duplicate ticket and takes help from the previous ticket to resolve it..Or if i have a knowledge base of all the tickets and the user can search similar tickets by entering a keyword.Please help...

Hi,Does the license gets released once the session times out in Integrity 2009?I need a way out by which i can release the license once the session times out on one machine and license should be granted to the other person logging in.Please help.

Is there any way to transfer Integrity information (creator, revision number, etc) into a Word document that is stored in the Integrity archive, in a similar way to keywords in source code? We are in the process of migrating to Integrity and this would be a very helpful function. For previous CM systems, check-in/out hook scripts were created that automatically update the properties of word documents. Is there an 'off the shelf' solution for this or have any of you done this before? If not, any tips on how to attempt it?

I am using windows 2008 Server to schedule some tasks to run on a certain time. Installed on this Server I have Integrity client 2009/SP6.I have a smal batch si commands which can not be excuted from the windows scheduler. Any othe CMD Batchfiles are working just fine. MKS Batch files are not. I have tried many settings, nothing worked. Do anyboday have an idea?

Hi,I need to hide the inactive pick values from the field..Can this be achieved?These values pop up while creating queries, reports etc with [Inactive] appended to the name..I need to hide such values so that the end users do no see them at all.

Hello,Currently our MKS installation activates only Requirements and Tasks as work items.Our MKS server manages the repositories, Build for miscellaneous big projects and a ~big number of users (arround 2000).My Question:It is possible to install the ALM of MKS without disturbing the current environment?What is the risk: to perturb the current users/projects/workflow?This Question is very important for me:What about the estimated Time to install and use the first ALM with default ALM template?Thanks in advanceMiled Attia

My question to the community, is it possible to have fields be automatically created based upon certain criteria? Right now, in my template I have to create the fields and then determine when they are visible based on a certain criteria. I would rather the field actually be created when the criteria is met instead of having to create a 100 redundant fields. For example, I have Row A with 5 fields once all 5 fields have been filled, Row B is created with the same 5 fields that would need to be filled out before Row C can be generated.

Hi @all,if i want to send a notification by a trigger i'm using the javamail.js. In the trigger-config i can write a mail-body and in this text i can use some keywords, which are pointing to item-based informations. Example: <%id%> shows the item-ID, <%fieldname%> shows the entry of the field "fieldname". If this field is a userfield i will get the username in my mail. Is there a way to get the full Name instead the username by such a keyword? Thanks and kind regards, Jens
