I have to upgrade Intergrity 9.6 to Integrity 10.9. Therefore also MS SQLServer has to be upgraded, too (without losing any Integrity data).Especially I need to upgrade from SQLServer 2005 to SQLServer 2008 and then from SQLServer 2008 to SQLServer 2012.Does anybody have experiences in this area ?Thanks,Peter

Hi all,I need to merge all contents of one SI database to another SI database.We have tried to do this as follows: 1) Shutdown Integrity2) isutil -c cmdbbackupcreate3) si migrate --dumpToBackup /One/Project/At/A/Time/project.pj (on the source SI database)4) Get their DBA to copy the B_ tables from database One (souce database) to database Two (target database)5) si migrate --restoreFromBackup (on the target SI database))6) Purge/truncate the B_ tables in both databases (or can this be done by running isutil -c cmdbbackupcreate again?)7) Rinse and repeat for all other projectsThe problem is now that not all projects of the source SI database are visible within the traget SI database. It seems thatall projects that have a development path are not visible in the target SI database.And: the procedure described above (using "si migrate --dumpToBackup" and "si migrate --restoreFromBackup") is not supported  because it has never been officially tested.Is there any other way to merge 2 SI

Hi all,we just observed a strange behaviour in Integrity Source 10.5:When checking out an older non-member-revision (working file refers to that older revision) and then performing a resynchronize, the working file is replaced with the member revision (okay) AND the lock is changed to the member revision.This does not seem to be okay.Is this already known and possibly corrected in > 10.5?Regards, Stephan

Dear Community,we would like to achieve the following.We have an Item called 'Realisation Order'. Related to this (forward) we have an Item called 'Implementation Task', this one can carry ChangePackages.We would like to show a list of all Change Packages (and Change Package entries) within the parent item. (Realisation Order).When trying this via a Query I can of course list all Tasks that have a Change Package (genericcp.si.exists).But I have no option to list the Changepackages and their IDs. Furthermore I cannot list the entries.I know how to create such an overview by using a report, but we would like to integrate this into the Item View.So basically there is 2 questions:Is there a possibility to list the ChangePackages within the 'parent item'?Is there any possibility to integrate a report into an Item Presentation Template?I am of course open for different approaches. HelloI am trying to get all the active project lists from MKS into XML. I tried using "im projects" but I don't know (nor I find )how to filter only active projects and then put it in XML. Thanks for your help in advance.

I started to use Jenkins to impement a nightly build process for our software components. Therefore I created a Jenkins Pipeline item that checksout, builds and checkins the build-results. The final step would be to checkpoint the complete project incl. the build result files. Is there a way to customize the checkpoint label (that consists of date and build numbers) and a way of applying the label to all members.

Has anyone seen this error message before?MKS124143: A user name with name "John Doe" already exists.I was trying to setup a new user with PTC Integrity.  When he was logging in for the first time, he got a little trigger happy with the OK button, and then this message popped up.  I tried to reset the user settings under the preferences of the client application, but that didn't help.  I was going to uninstall the viewset and then try again.  Any ideas?

When using Paste Special and checking Include Traces, it doesn't seem to actually include the traces. What is required for this to work? I tried setting those relationship fields to by Copy Fields but then you can't copy without including the traces. I'm using Integrity 10.7.

What we need is the best practice guide of the integrity SCM, not the user guideline. Are there any documents or materials related to the best practice of the integrity SCM?Thanks.

@I need to access the Query results record Objects in my Javascript Trigger file from the attached Scheduled Trigger Query. What Java/Javascript Beans are used to access the Query Results. attached Trigger script works fine now.Message was edited by: Laxman Dobbala

This script works now, access all query results and removes "DecomposesTo" traces from the results.

What is the maximum file size i can upload in Integrity 10.7.

Hello, I would like to export attachments from items (multiple items and multiple attachements per item) from Integrity. We know there is an export function for attachements (IIF) but only for documents. Is there another option than xls-export for items (instead of documents) including the attachements? Hi!My company manage baseline by label.so we want to show label in 'view projects' when we use 'shared project' function...but, I have heard it's not possible...or waiting for being answered of "Idea" page in this site.then, is it possible to get [project & rivision & label] information when I use 'si report' command ?I checked that there is  [project & revision] information, but label is not exported.

I asked this question last year but am hoping that I might get a better answer this year. We are using PTC and a project management software package for Agile software development. We are really much closer to a Displined Agile Delivery style where we do have some requirements stated upfront and provide more detail as we progress in the project. The software development team really likes their Agile PM software and use it to split requirements and provide more granularity as we move through the project. Our test group really likes to use PTC for locking down the requirements and tracking bugs once requirements and features have become finalized. It would seem to me that we should be able to find a middle ground where we can import and export requirements (user stories) as the software development team does backlog grooming and iteration planning into PTC where our test group can track bugs and also keep the latest version of requirements. I've downloaded the installer files and trying to start the installer from the windows explorer with the error:"Windows can't openzhis type of file (.jar)"How could I execute a .jar file as an administrator?In the docu there is written about a dynatrace agent and -client. Hey all,I've created a gateway template to export requirements to a Word document, and its working well.  However when I generate traceability such as 'Satisfied By' or 'Verified By' links, gateway will just print out the ID of the trace link, or a list of IDs if there are more than one trace.Is it possible to, instead of jutt listing the trace ID numbers, to list additional fields in that trace such as Category and Text?Thanks!An example: Right now me export generates a list of requirements like:Section: 1.1Text:The manipulator shall ....Satisfied By:17612,17614But I would instead like:Section: 1.1Text:The manipulator shall ....Satisfied By:(ID)          (Category)           (Text)17612     System Test          Test variation in steady state speed...17614     Acceptance Test     ....

Hi the context is w.r.t Integrity 10.5 , Admin side.I tried to see in Aduit Log, failed to see anything related to specified project level ACL. May be I have not passed correct details. Is there any one who can let me know how to find history of ACL who changed when etc.
