Hello folks,I´m having a difficult time creating a particular round. It says references of user-defined transitions have been lost. What can I do??What are transitions for? How am I supposed to use them?I have attached an image of the edge over which the round is to be created.It is at the intersection of the handle with the rest of a bottle, so it should be created on both sides of the handle.Only the right side is shown.thanks in advance, best regards Al.

Für das zweite Projekt soll aus dem Ordner "Models" eine Datei "Blocks2" geöfnet werden. Trotz intensiver Suche finde ich weder den Ordner noch die angegeben Datei. Danke für jede Hilfe, Mike

Will anyone tell me where or if there is a forum or turtorials for CoCreate PE? This forum I think no one looks at very much. I have had a question posted here for two weeks and no response at all. I suppose because the software is free PTC does not feel they should or need to contribute here. I can understand that so where can I go for help. The help included is not complete or accurate. The consensus was that W5 is fairly stable but unless you have apressing reason to change because of vendors or an improvement youreally fancy, it would be more prudent to wait for another couple ofreleases. Hopefully we will take the wait and see option at least until early nextyear and do some testing in the meantime. (still a management decision) Thanks to all that took the time to answer. Management is asking if we want to upgrade to W5 as we are getting allnew hardware and the IT guy is building an image for them. I have always been a firm believer in keeping away from the "bleedingedge" as far as Pro/E releases are concerned.I guess the question is ...... has the bleeding stopped ..... is W5stable and what cut is recommended at present? Are there any updates available for download for this edition of Pro/Engineer? I have been searching but haven't found any yet. I'm experiencing some glitches with the photo renderer (PhotoLux) and would like to see if any updated versions of Pro/E resolve the issues.

OK,Now that I woke up a few of you. There was a general consensus and here itis, and the outcome is not good. An astonishing 99.3 percent of the population will be killed 2012 because noone will listen to the engineer running the FEA analysis on the earth'scrust. Of course the earth model was created on Google Earth 1.2, and theengineer was in India running his numbers on a 286-12 with a 5.25" floppyand with a dial up connection to AOL. If only he could have afforded abetter system back in 1985 when he started the analysis and Pro/e beenavailable and Time Warner had Roadrunner, and, and, and we all wouldn't haveto be exterminated. It's true I saw the documentary on this last weekend. If you didn't see thedocumentary save your money it will be on DVD a good 18months before the endof the world. Thanks for playingRon

We are going to switch to WF4 in a few months and I am going through all of the UDF's to ensure they behave as they should and I noticed something. Most UDF's that we've made are placed using the new UDF interface. Several of them, however (attached) uses the old interfaces that walks through placement rather than the "slick new" interface. Can anyone explain why? I don't mind the new interface BTW but like others have mentioned, it presents itself as something you need to figure out rather than something that shows you how it's to be placed. It also requires more mouse picks.

WF2, WF3 and WF4. 😄I would like to create a layer that will put all new features, regardless of type, on it as they are created.  I do not want any existing features to be placed on that layer.  Also, I'd want to at some point remove that 'auto add' rule from the layer so that new features no longer get placed on a layer.I can pretty easily create an 'all features' rule, but that gathers old and new.  I just want new.How can I do that?Doug Schaefer

For some reason the pre-defined flange / flat wall profiles are no longer showing up in my Pro/E. It used to show up, but one time I set the angle to flat when creating an attached flat wall, it disappeared and never returned. Anyone got any ideas?

Does anyone know what the file is, and maybe where it might be located, that populates the recent use files under the File pulldown? When I start a WF4.0 ProE session it is always empty. It will list files I open in the current session but is empty again the next day. Thanks.

I'm putting together an assy for some renderings and having a fairly realistic 15" laptop model to place in it would be nice.  Only need the outer surfaces, including keyboard and screen inside.  If anyone has one that they can share, I'd appreciate it.Thanks,Doug Schaefer
