a handle was make with 3/8" rod and i want to give the bend and the lenth of the rod.

Hi all,Does anyone have any experience importing AI files into pro?I see that when opening or importing in Pro, that Adobe Illustrator files are an option. I'm not having any success though.Thanks,Stefan

OK, now that I've settled on using material files, I was wondering if there are any updated libraries available out there? I know of the small library that ships with Pro|E and there is a zip file at MCAD Central [1], but It's quite old dating back to 2002 or 2004. That means it's in the pre WF3 format. I searched the PTC|User archives as well and found many requests for files and a few responses indicating files had been received, but no files.For now, I'm going to adapt that set from MCAD Central, but if there's a set updated to WF3 I'd like to have it. The only library available online, I guess, is the one at MCAD Central.I did, however, receive an updated version with many more materials thatI've attached here (with permission of the one who sent it, of course).It may get stripped off when emailed through the list, so you may needto go to the PTC|User site to get it. ProE is set to Metric but when opening Bend Order Table it is in imperial.Tried to load our own Table but says it contains errors.Do I have to convert our table from Metric to Imperial? Or is there another way around. Thanx

Is the component icon checkbox in the Product Structure tab going to be in PV 9.1? What purpose does it serve to open a file with the parent component unchecked? I would like to set the preference to open it checked but can't find it in the preferences.

I am trying to view a Simplified Rep with a defined style and I can't get them to work together. When I am in the simplified rep, I can see the styles that were created in the master rep, but if I try to activate them nothing changes on the screen. Also, the button to create new Styles is greyed out so I can't create one directly in the simplified rep. I thought that I had done this same thing with a different model a couple of weeks ago. Am I missing something or should this work? I am on Wildfire 3 M130.Thanks in advance.Kelly

Thanks to the couple of folks who have responded. The responses were tohow to set up a material library or a material file. Thanks, however wedo not use material files or libraries here. Perhaps we should andthat's the answer I'm looking for (and I'm looking into that), but myquestion was more about setting up and using Pro|E with no materialproperties. BTW - I've downloaded the single material file collection from MCADCentral. There was none at PTC User, does anyone know of other placesto download them? The MCAD central file is fairly old (4/2004), havethere been changes in the material files in recent versions?Doug Schaefer

Ok - I have been checking out the Markup functionality in ProE 2.0 today.How do I save the markup .prt to its own file?Clicking save doesn’t work.I’m prompted to enter a file extension. Ho scaricato cocreate ma al momento dell' installazione mi compare: errore interno 2738 di conseguenza l' installazione viene abortita. I wanted to know how to change the text and arrow size for all dwgs?

I am using wildfire 4.0. When i convert pro-e .drw file into .dwg (Autocad) file then all sectional view arrow (Arrow that shows sectional view) gets tilted to some degree. I did not have this problem before. can some one help me out. thank you

I did a search and it said to use File/Open change file type to .jt, however I do not see the option to select .jt. Anyone know if there is another way to do this.

Has anyone ever had troubles with RP houses saying the edge radii in STL files look gouged and not smooth?The chord height has beenadjusted to the input defaults, and angle control I've never been asked to change.This problem seems to have appeared in WF3 and WF4.
