When we use spline command in pro-e and fit a spline, what order spline is fitted.

Hello Gurus,This is a non Pro-E related question. We are trying to setup a new Mechanical Integration Team in my Plant. I am looking for baseline on where my team should be and expectations and responsibilities of my team. I need advise from the Gurus of some of the great companies which I can take my team and visit them and use that as the base line.Example: GE Aviation is very good at electrical Integration interface systems. Toyota is very good example and base line and role model for Lean Activities.Please advise and suggest some of the great companies. Has anyone had any success in automating/scripting Pro/ENGINEER suchthat the program interacts with the embedded browser? Both logging inand using the embedded browser do not get captured by the trail file.This is being cross-posted as it involves both Pro/ENGINEER andWindchill. Is there a way to have a line of text not be evaluated as a parameter? I'm looking to be able to use "XXX&YY" in a format, without it asking fro the value of YY everytime one uses the format. I've got some space constraints, so I don't want to use "XXX & YY"Thank you

I have been spending sometime learning the benefits of 2D CoPilot by watching the demo. I am encountering some issues while I am practicing using the CoPilot on PE2. Specifically 1. the distance following the cursor does not display any decimal reading: does one need to go to some setting to specify the number of decimal point? if yes, how can i do it? My measurement is set to 3 decimal points. 2. the adaptive grid + key shortcut: I can not experience the benefit of this key shortcut , I believe that the problem I have in (1) needs to be solved first. thanks in advance for the help Yman

I have been away from CoCreate for sometime,and now I am about to use the program again I find that when I start the help file I cannot read the RH side as it is microscopic. I would be glad of some help here. STWO

if i want to show plus 0.05, plus 0.03 where is the option in pro/e

.....and Pro/E jobs available in a country where my "Emglish" language won't be such a handicap? ONe where I would quickly be able to be a citizen? Any headhunters out there interested in a highly-qualified Pro/E designer with almost 26 years experience in general (from defense to consumer goods)and almost 12 years on Pro/E? Australia would be nice, Italy as well. Prefer countries where I have some time to learn the language and still be able to communicate in English. I have certain requirements that would preclude certain countries. Anyone able to steer me to someone that can help? Any contacts?

Just installing the student edition onto my laptop and the mouse pointer is not the selection point, but instead is off towards the tail of the arrow. Is there a way to change this so that the arrow tip is the selection point?

Actually I have Pro-E Wf 2.0,and I had installed granite to import WF 4.0 files. But when I tryed to open a file and as soon as I click on "ok" the program shut down. If somebody have an idea of what is the problem I really appreciate that.

Does anyone really know how to copy geometry from one model to another? The instructions I have from the help files don’t work and are incredibly confusing as usual. It should be pretty simple if it’s really possible. Suppose I’m working in a file and want to retrieve the geometry in another one. From my working file, I should be able to pull up another one, select the geometry, and then paste the geometry into my original model. I’ve seen the dialogue screens that ask for references etc, so it seems that all of the tools are in the mix, but with screens that disappear behind each other, and literary errors typical of an eighth grader in the instructions, I can’t make this work at all in Wildfire 2. By the way, I’ve already searched this forum and for some reason, older links cause my computer to lock up. I don’t know what that’s all about, but I have already looked FYI.
