After several hours of trying to figure this out, I remembered I had upgraded my wildfire to m220 last week. I reinstalled m200 to a different folder, ran the wizard from there, and everything worked fine. I'm going to see if PTC can recreate the issue.

Hi, how can I create a high quality photorendered image. I've tried photorendering with my foundation package, and the results have not been too impressive. Do I need a specific module? Also I have heard of Rhino3d?

Folks, PTC is telling management that there is some wonderful way of convertingAutoCAD files to ProE. Anyone have an explanation for this. I cannotfigure it. I have a swept cut that is defined by a curve that is formed onto theside of a cylinder. Them dimensions of the curve are defined in a flatplane tangent to the cylinder.=20Is there any way to show the curve dimensions in this flat plane view?Attached is the model with the cut suppressed.Tony

This may be rudimentary, but how do I save things to a layer and then beable to turn the layer off? I believe I have been doing this correctly,but when I set the layer to hide, the parts I have tried to capture inthe layer are still visible. I have found the edrawings viewers are not downward compatible. A eDrawings created in the WF2 create program may not open in the viewer that came with the WF1 create program.(2) Yes, both Pro-E Wildfire 2.0 & W.F. 3.0 supports eDrawings. eDrawings is embedded into the Pro-E session for publishing. Does WF2.0 support the edrawings? Anybody has any experience on this? We are still using PDFs for 2D prints for production.

I have done some work for a client in WF 3.0. Turns out they can not run WF 3.0 on their system just yet.Is there anyway to save the WF 3.0 work as WF 2.0 files?Any help is geatly appreciated.Steve Throndset

Hi In ProE i always have to change units before I start modelling since it either accepts the default template which is in inches, pound force system and I work in Si units. I would like to know whether there is a way to set the template so that whenever I start proE it always starts up in the units that i want to work with. Thanx

Anyone knows if a notification for [File->Close Window] exists?. I tried all the model related and window-change notification types, but none of those are triggered by a window close. Also, I don't see anything obvious in the ProNotifyType enum corresponding to this.TIA.

How do you move the icons around in sketcher (WF 3)???I opened up a sketch and then tried to pick Customize Screen from the tools menu but it is greyed out. I also tried right clicking and selecting commands but that is greyed out also.I was able to move things around in WF 2 with this method.Mark NerbyFluke Corporation
