Hello all,I'm sorry if this has been answered before but we just installed Wildfire2and we noticed that trying to mouse pick text, lines, models etc... has changed.Its like there is only a small area that can be picked.Is there a way to change this back to be more like Wildfire ??TIA, Scott

Time for my daily question! I know you've all been waiting. I am working on preparing a large weldment for FEA. The FEA will be doneusing solids. In Pro/E, I need to be able to merge all of the individualcomponents into one solid, then fill in the gaps between the features, andthen add some geometry to represent some of the more critical welds. Can anyone give suggestions on the most efficient way to accomplish this? Thanks, Erik

No luck in finding any Pro-E models of kitchen cabinets. However, one user already had a similar idea, and sent a JPEG image as proof. I do not have these files myself.

Thanks for all the responses on how to update references. Funny thing is when I restarted Pro-ethe problem went away. At least for now. I'llkeep these ideas tucked away for latter use.Thanks Rob

I have an older model which I did not create.The workpiece would not regenerate because of missing references. I went into sketcher to tryto correct the problem but every time I tried to do somethingit said outdated references. I could not even exit sketcher I had to shut Pro-e down. How can I find out the exact problem and how to fix it?Thanks Rob

Don't know how many of you get the daily e-mail from PTC Knowledge Base notification, listing the new TANS, workarounds etc.. It usually lists 2 to 5 items. Todays email listed about 500+ items, more than I could count. I found that peculiar. It looks like they closed a lot of items and are going to live with the workaround, or solve in later release.

Go to control panel, power options, set everything to never.

I had hibernate off, but monitor and hard drive were set to sleep after20 minutes.. Everyone suggested setting all those to "never" sleep andone was work harder and quit leaving it idle!.
