Creo Parametric 2.0   I am trying to reuse the explode states I defined in my sub assemblies when exploding the top level assy.  I thought there was a way to do so, but I can't remember how or I'm mistaken.  I may be thinking of style states.  A year away from Creo has taken its toll on my memory of some functions.   Thanks.   (Interestingly, when searching I discovered that I had asked this before, almost 10 years ago, evidently with no response. That or the response was lost in one of the great community migrations of old. 😁)

Hello,I finally managed to install and run PTC Mathcad Prime 12 after solving multiple installation issues.At first, the application would not start at all and crashed with the following error in Event Viewer:"Cannot locate resource 'worksheetresources.xaml'"The issue was related to the Windows display language. After changing Windows from Polish to English and reinstalling Mathcad, the application now starts correctly.However, I now have a licensing problem.When I try to activate the 30-day trial, the License Wizard first showed several "Server Error" messages. After multiple attempts, I now receive this error:"You have reached the maximum number of license requests available for your product type."As a result, Mathcad only works in Express mode and I cannot activate the trial license.Could someone from PTC please:reset my trial activation limit, assign a trial license to my account, or provide manual activation instructions?I would really appreciate any help.Thank you.

Could somebody help. I am a Student and i tried to Install Creo 11 and it worked. The only Problem is that when i try to creat the Licens File via the Programm exe. It says “License invalid file or format”.I have the new Surface Pro 11 14” with the Snapdragon Elite plus. So Windows 11 ARM64Do somebody have an answer  ?

I am aware of Fishbowl's MS Teams offering. I was not particularly interested in that type of customization. I was looking at more of user presence and communications. We've done some internal work at simple URL icons to invoke a Team's message to a user. This can be done via a Data Utility to add in a Teams icon and work similar to the email link.  From what I've read, to do anything more advanced, we would need to register an application in Azure, get an ID and use that to make calls via Microsoft Graph API. If I need to pull live information like online status info or a hover over popup, that would need some custom calls. What would be nice would be to have Windchill message users in Teams about events as an alternative to email communication. Its about time. I also see that PTC has the Windchill Office integration where you do the same thing, register it as an application. This means the foundational code is already there. Creo Parametric does not allow you to save an .idx file from an assembly that is in a simplified representation. This would be a helpful add-on in the future.

I am using Creo Schematics Release 7.0 and Datecode7.0.0.0 When I save a schematic the software closes and saves. The workgroup manager stays open but I cannot reopen the schematic drawing unless I close the workgroup manager and restart from scratch.

Hi, I would like to export automatically generated rigid bodies from CREO Mechanism.

I am trying to install the student education version of Creo 12 to my own PC. I followed all the steps and uninstall the old versions. The problem is the .dat license file is not created in the folder C:\ProgramData\PTC\Licensing. It always gives me an error

We would like to “react” to the loading of PDF representation on drawings (EPMDocument). The loading is done via the RepHelper  from Windchill Vieable Service in a separated process. Which event in Windchill should we listen at ? I thought ContentServiceEvent.POST_UPLOAD could be a good candidate, but i could not see it triggered during the load.

Thanks for the new option to customize the range of page numbering in Header/Footer, very useful when assembly a bigger document with several worksheets.Question 1: is it possible to link the page numbering to a running variable that keeps track of the overall numbering?I mean, first worksheet have 5 pages, then second worksheet starts on page number 6 until number of pages, then third worksheet starts on next page number after worksheet 2, etc.Question 2: does it exists a variable which provides the total number of pages of the current worksheet?

When editing classification nodes the delete icon for classification nodes is exactly the same as the delete icon for the entire classification namespace. They are also relatively close together.Deleting the entire namespace is a very bad thing to do!It would be better if the delete icons were not the same and not so close together.

Up through Mathcad 15 it was possible to make a nice-looking parallel operator using the infix notation. It would be very helpful to make it work in Prime. 

I Transferred a Perpetual License,License shows as ‘good’ in the license utility.License shows as ‘Active’ on the Kepware website.BUT KepserverEX is still showing a 2hr time limit, after which, it deactivates. License support expiry is 10/2019.I am uncertain what Kepserver version it was originally running on.Now running on Kepserver 6.18.318.0 QUESTIONS:Is this a Kepserver version issue? How do I see what version of kepserver my licenses need?Or has Kepware made it so you can't transfer older licenses without paying?

I have been a paid subscriber to Mathcad since the late 1990’s. As a former a beta tester and advisor on new features, my interest and commitment to Mathcad is substantial. However, I am concerned about the future of Prime when I see more discussions on it not working rather than use.Yes some old problems are addressed with each new release. But installation and operation issues are starting to out number Topics on using the software to solve engineering and science problems. Even just upgrading to the new version or obtaining the new license keeps changing, adding to the frustration.For many of us, Mathcad is our only reason to use PTC’s products. Please do not make it a reason to be the last.   

I have 2 user groups which need to access the SCM page for things belonging to different ThingTemplates. User Group A should access only things from ThingTemplates ABC_1, ABC_2 and ABC_3; whereas User Group B should access only things from ThingTemplates XYZ_1 and XYZ_2. And all ThingTemplate inherit a BaseTemplate. How do I manage access levels based on ThingTemplate?
