Dear expertsI'm just frustrated about very primitive exercise in Creo Simulate 12. See the sketch below. In creo there is an assembly contains 2 composite parts, in real glued together. The cored composite board (composites 1) is bonded on composite frame L profile (composite 2). The target is to see how the rigidity of L profile affects the modal frequencies of board.Only composite quilts are supported in Simulate, it means the virtually gap is observed, the layup guilts are not in touch, bonded connection is not supported in this case. I have tested a lot of procedures, rigid link, spot weld...etc., but only bonded interface is closest to real surface - surface bonding.Another test I have made, in assembly the 3rd part - glue was created, the thickness was a gap, but there is a material interference - glue + laminate in real. Does anybody have an idea how to fix that? What is the correct connection feature between two composite parts, or generally between two shells?Thx a l

I've to do a migration from KEPServerEX 5.8 to KEPServerEX 7, step by step, using a BRIDGE KEPServerEX 7 solution, that initially it is connected in OPC-UA to all OLD channel/device/tags of KEPServerEX 5.8.Then in a new Server with KEPServerEX 7 we migrate step by step each original channel, then connecting the BRIDGE to the new one migrated.Finally we will have the BRIDGE only linked in UA Client to the new KEPServerEX 7 migrated, and no more to the old one KEPServerEX 5.8. Now we are testing this migration scenario creating in Kepware 7 BRIDGE an OPC-UA Channel to Kepware 5.8 OLD, but we have some issue when the remote Channel in Kepware 5.8 is it self an OPC-UA driver.In some cases, the tags seems to be unknown and in bad quality, why ?The issue happen also if I try to read the remote TAGs via UAExpert tool To understand/replicate the issue I have done also another example locally, in order to exclude network and OPC-UA configuration, both in

Using the Open Torque Tool Protocol driver, I am struggling connecting a Atlas Copco MT Focus 6000 (not Power Focus). According to the Kepware driver supported devices, this is a supported device. However, it has proven impossible to connect to the LTR tags and the 1201/1202 tags to get torque results. We have validated that the 'Communication' messages are successful and valid, and can validate data via diagnostics. However, the driver does not recognize the data format and sets most tag quality to 'Bad (Out of Service)' We have tried every message revision and MID8 / MID60.  Is it truly possible to get torque result data from an MTF6000 using Kepware's Open Torque Tool Protocol driver?

We are currently experiencing a performance issue with our OPC UA communication. We have an application developed in FactoryTalk View SE version 15, which displays several graphical screens that rely on data coming from Kepware 6 through an OPC UA connection.The problem is that the graphical elements take a long time to receive updated information from Kepware. The data refresh rate is significantly slower than expected, causing delays in the visualization of real‑time values.We would like to understand what could be causing this slow performance and what actions we can take to improve the responsiveness of the OPC UA communication. Specifically, we are looking for recommendations to optimize OPC UA settings, data update rates, server load, or any other configuration that could help increase the communication speed between Kepware and FactoryTalk View.

Many Windchill users out there are painfully aware of local workspace cache corruptions. Those who have experienced this problem know that you can contact PTC and they will provide a list containing the names of the local cache files and their equivalent Pro/E file names. You then have to manually rename all of the files using the provided list. Having dealt with this in the past and based on information obtained from logged calls to PTC (and as others have mentioned here) I learned that the Pro/E file name can be found in the cache file, usually (but not always) in the file header. After dealing with workspace cache corruptions many times I decided to see if I could automate this process.Earlier this year, while between jobs, I began to develop what I am calling WC_FileRecovery. My client has ThingWorx Foundation 9.4.4, Utilities 9.4.0, and Navigate 9.4.2 and want to upgrade to everything to 10.1.  The Utilities 10.1 Help Center upgrade matrix lists 9.5.5 as the minimum version that can be upgraded to 10.1.  Is that truly the case or can I upgrade from 9.4.0?  Or do I need to upgrade to Foundation/Utilities 10.0 then upgrade to Foundation/Utilities 10.1?

Hi all,   I'm a long time user of Mathcad but first time poster - hoping someone can tell me where I'm going wrong!   I'm having trouble in Prime 11 creating functions that use vectorized multiplication of two vectors, where the values inside one of the vectors was created using the sum operator. When I do the equivalent operation directly within the worksheet (i.e. not within a function it works without error. When I try replacing the sum operator within the function with a value it all works without error.   The error message I get is "This value must be a matrix of scalar elements all of which have the same units"   I've seen a lot of discussion about how this error can come from inappropriate use of ranges when vectors should be used - I've checked using IsArray & IsRange on all the vectors involved and I don't think I have any inadvertent ranges.   Example worksheet showing my issue attached.   If anyone can help tell me where I'm going wrong I'd

I have an assembly with two components. Every components has a simplified rep with the same name; UDSR where one feature is excluded. When I create a simplified rep in my assembly, I can select the User Defined Simplified Rep, pick UDSR,  from each component. Works perfect. Now I want to create a rule-based simrep, where every component is loaded with the user defined simrep "udsr" in it.In the rule editor, I am on the Status Tab, selecting Display. Is it possible to search for a user defined simrep with a particular name?

Hello,While renewing my Creo student license, I was getting errors when installing the license code. I tried deleting all of my creo files and reinstalling from scratch but the error is persisting. I have included a screenshot of this below. Has anyone seen this before or know how I can go about solving it? Thanks!

(Running Windchill 11.2.1.17) Hi All, I have come across a rather annoying issue with Policy Administration and the sub-domains. I was messing around with restricting access to certain folders via sub-domains, following exactly what this thread said to do. I created a new role 'Confidential Users' and added people to this role, however, I wanted to rename it, so I deleted it and created a new role under a new name (It didn't give me the option to rename so I did this). Then I went back to the policy administration tab to add/edit the access control rule to use the new role, however, all previous access control rules disappeared, and I cannot add in new ones - the create new policy button is gone, leaving only the edit, delete and list buttons as seen in the image below. So now I have a folder that I cannot delete because I cannot see it due to the sub-domains access control rule, and a sub-domain I cannot add new rules to, thus preventing me from ever seeing th
