Hi everyone, I am currently designing a simplified deployment setup for our ThingWorx environment based on the standard multi-stage pipeline.     Our planned flow looks like this:   👉 Local Instances (Developers) → DEV Environment → Git (Build Pipeline) → Artifact Repository → TEST Server → Production Servers (multiple locations like China, Italy, etc.)   This structure seems efficient for our team and helps streamline deployments, but I’m unsure how to handle bug fixes in this setup. For example, if a bug is found in production, what’s the best practice for fixing and validating it —should it go directly from DEV → TEST → PROD again, or is a temporary branch/environment recommended? We are deploying our projects as extensions.   Would appreciate any insights or examples from those who’ve implemented a similar lightweight pipeline. Thanks in advance! — Jamal

Hello,I am hoping someone is familiar with a way to tie the "color" parameter in block properties to the shape's color representation. I assume there is a need to designate each RGB or whatever value within the shape section with a name select-able within the block properties.

Version: Windchill 12.1 Use Case: Versioning Explodes and series alignment is corruptedDescription: While doing our deployment build we came across this issue. When a Redline Notice is created, this is pushing new version Seeds in this system. e.g 'CHG-AA-1'. This 'CHG-' comes from a preference. the AA-1 is taken up from the version of the Affected Item. This although programmatically created OOTB by Windchill , is directly pushed into the versionida2versioninfo column of the WTPart.  The ill effect of this is, when we load our next build we get 'Seed CHG-AA-1' is not available in the HarvardSeries error. We have to put in this seed value as a legacy tag to get around the issue. By continuing to do so, Over the time, the  series will explode and get populated with a lot of Junk values just to support Redline.Q-1. The best I can do today is get rid of the CHG- prefix, what about the AA-1how is this handled to make it seamless in the configuration, right now its chaos, eve

i know there is a api in toolkit to get a component's transformation matrix, like ProAsmcomppathTrfGet(). but as far as i know, the assembly component path is related with current assembly or current model in toolkit.how about i want to get a component's transformation matrix relatively to its parent assembly not current assembly.for example, there is a assembly A, it has a component B who has a component C. instead of using ProAsmcomppathTrfGet() to get path for C to A, i want to get the transformation matrix for C to B.is it possible to do so? can anyone show me a sample codes? many thanks. 

Mathcad Prime 11 is ok with the units of atm and psi but has issues when trying to use bar and kpa in all but the SI unit system.   Why does these pressure units only are valid in SI unit system? For example, I get the following error messages when in CGS unit system: "This variable is undefined.  Check that the label is set correctly." When I switch back to the SI unit system it works and removes the error message.

Hi, Lets say I'm running an interference check on a large assembly, or saving PDFs of my 200 page drawing...something that takes time for Creo to process. I used to be able to open another session of Creo to work on other things, while the first was thinking... but now that we moved up to Creo 11, I am no longer able to do this. I have to wait till the first session of Creo is complete before using another session.  Is there a config setting I should be looking to change? I know in Creo 3 it had something to do with the embedded browser in Creo,  Figured I would ask here first before making another ticket to PTC.

Good afternoon i'm using a creo parametric 11 version, i'm trying for my drawing to populate the "code nr." and some other parameter as shown below automatically.For example a code can be "202500001_11" i want to manually apply che 202500001 code only on the main .asm parameter and use the same code also in all the .prt drawing on the repeat region.Actually i write this code on the relation of all the .prtDESCRIZIONE_ORDINE=DESCRIZIONE_ORDINE:1NOME_PARTICOLARE=rel_model_nameDISEGNATO=DISEGNATO:1ORDINE=ORDINE:1CODICE=CODICE:1DATA_CREAZIONE=DATA_CREAZIONE:1QNT=QNT:1And it works, but i cannot save this code in the start part of the .prt because of that ":1" that refer to the .asm and it does not exist in the new .prt.for the "_11" i'm using matching code like this and it workd perfectly also on the start part IF rel_model_name=="CAV_M"NR_PARTE="_11M"Can someone help me with the main code ?Thank you for your time and help.

As configure Windchill SSO by following the manual: Security Assertion Markup Language (SAML) Authentication , now we are able to open the SSO login page and login with username/password successfully. But when the browser tries to jump into Windchill home page, it showes error message like 'Failed to process the request, Contact your administrator...'. Is there a better way to create tab and slot plate connections than manually drawing every line? I hope there is some technique where a tab can be replicated arrayed and then slots automated in the mating part. Boolean cut works but with this I don't have the option for clearance or dog bones.

Hi, I have this code I can compile with C-SDK I want to make a .snap from.I'm using the version 3.2.0.3436.I used cmake and everything worked fine between thingworx and the agent I coded.The architecture is as such : > c-sdk     > build     > examples          > my code     > lib     > src     > test cmake is done in c-sdk>build The thing is, I now need to make a snap from this project and I don't really know where to start. Mathcad Enhancement Proposal:  Change Mathcad's numerical representation of infinity to the IEEE 754 floating-point standard.   When dealing with large numbers, representing infinity as 10^307 can lead to numerical errors and yield ambiguous or unreadable results.     Note: Python math, NumPy, Mathematica and Matlab all give correct results.   I don't know why 2^1020 is allowable, but 2^n, where n:=1020, raises an error.   Stuart   (Numerical ∞ = 10307 has annoyed me since Mathsoft Mathcad days.  At least change ∞ to ⧜ (U+29DC Incomplete Infinity)

Hello, We run Kewpare 6.16 on a VM Hyper-V for long time. The old system was Windows 2012 R2 and we use Kepware to feed our own Software using OPC DA communication. This system was running quite fine. After we migrate the VM to New Hardware our software is dying on resources on the system. After troubleshouting we found out that the request from our Software (Multi Clients) via Kepware to the Data Server are not responded in time. But looking at the Task manager of the system we could not find any issues. Processors, Memory, Disk and Network are showing no issues. the new hardware is comparable to the old hardware.When we disable the Kepware Service on the computer the system is running fine and is responding timely, but starting the communication with Kepware let the system dying of resources. It seem the requested are not answered timely. When starting only one or two clients the system is reacting correctly but with more clients started on the system the system getting slo
