I am using Creo Parametric 4.0 M140I am trying to read and apply parameters on an annotation, specifically a driven dimension in a 3d model (PRO_DIMENSION or pfcITEM_DIMENSION). When I create a parameter on the modelitem, the parameter gets applied to the .prt that owns the dimension. How do I set a parameter on the actual dimension? What modelitem associated with the dimension owns the parameters? I can access these parameters manually by selecting parameters in the right click menu of the dimension so there must be a way of doing this programmatically.

Hello,   I exported an .ibl-file for a turbine blade from CFturbo. The file is created and I can see it in the explorer, but I cannot import in Creo. The file is not shown in the import window of Creo. Any help would be much appreciated.

Hello to all,i am using creo 8 and i noticed that, compared to previous versions, the dimensions in 3D sketch are much smaller.Where can I set the size from? (see attached images between creo 8 and creo 7)   ty, Matteo.

I am using Creo Parametric 2.0 M250EDIT: I had forgot to mention that this was occurring only during and RDP session, all of your input is valuable, using the integrated graphics chip does work much better during RDP, i just disable the NVIDIA graphic adaptor in the device manager during RDP sessions. this is a viable workaround until I find the root cause. It does the same behaviours for Creo 7 so now at least I can open a ticket. ORIGINAL Message:Creo 2.0 M250 will not launch on a new Windows 10 PC but works fine on other Win 10 PCs. I am using Creo Parametric - Release 7.0 (connected) 7.0 7.0.4.0Regarding Creo ModelCHECK check with options:- config_init: MC_MBD_IGNORE_DRIVING_DIMS N- checks: ANNTN_MISSING_SURF_REF EResult: All driven dimensions with missing reference surfaces are listed, even dimensions that are not shown in the model and are not PMI.Problem: Dimensions that are needed for modeling the model but are not shown must not be listed. It is impossible and pointless to assign reference surfaces to all dimensions existing in the model.Question: Can ModelCHECK be configured to list only driven dimensions that are shown in the model?Remark: Which annotations are not shown is known by the following option: ANNTN_NOT_ON_COMB_STATE YPicture and test model are attached to the case.

Hi Everyone,   Have a hole which I want to make a pattern from (with angle as variable) I want to use pattern table to do the pattern because I want custom entries I can do that with no issue, but I want to make Creo get the data from an external excel file rather than internal protab. That way my boss can easily do part updates just by updating the excel file. Say I want to create 5 holes at 0, 10, 15, 90, 270 degrees as an example. Hi,   At the time of delete a part or assembly from its parent assembly, the creo system automatically asks for children handling whether they need to delet/freeze/suspend . But if parent have 100 child parts then it need to do freeze every time (each part) But we want all child to be freeze/delete/suspend, So my question is can we add freeze all/delete all / suspend all options in popup menu.     Thanks, Prashant Pandarkar

I am trying add multiple lines in the reference section of a weld symbol. Is that possible? If possible, how can i do that?  Want something like the attached image. 

Product Management Team, We have raised couple of enhancement requests on Hole Feature and the  hole table which are very much essential requirement for any tooling Industries. Most of the customers are insisting this functionalities as they have it in the competitive software's. This saves lot of time in detailing and reduce costly errors in manufacturing.   Now I have added one more important enhancement request to show the tolerance of Hole features in Creo detailing with Hole Table such as H7 with tolerance values or +/-  tolerance values. Current we don't have this functionality in Creo8.0. Kindly let me know when it is likely to be introduced and in which release of Creo? or do we have any road map  for these enhancements raised on Hole table enchantments

Our team would like to begin using Creo 8 but I've been unable to upgrade our license server to support this version. Our license server is running on a Windows Server 2012 R2 machine and it appears that the new license server (Flexnet 11.17.1.0) required for Creo 8 doesn't support this operating system. Has anyone managed to work around this problem?

Hello, I am doing an image capture macro and the problem is that some part / assembly has 2 messages that I would like to make disappear "Instance: *****" and "x.x + 0.1 ... "(you will find the annotations on the photos I enclose).   (It is not really about annotation because I cannot touch them, nor hide them with the button to hide annotations)

Could someone kindly send me this content: CS210772 - How to find hidden components in an assembly in Creo Parametric 2.0? (ptc.com) I would very much appreciate it.   I want to make a simplified representation with some hidden parts and don't want these parts appear in my BOM.  I tried to create the simplified representation by rule, but could not find hidden parts. There seem to be no way to choose the "Hidden Items" layer.

is there any way to get creo to work on a mac?

We recently made a slow transition to solid tool models (tool + holder .asm), spurred on by getting a new 5-axis machine and wanting full simulation.  This was not as helpful as one might think, as there is no usable translation from Creo to NCSimul tools.  Additionally, the in-Creo ModuleWorks verification took a back seat during the implementation, with no VERICUT_TYPE parameters being entered for any of the tools.  As it is now, ModuleWorks shows just the holder for 90% of the tools I've tried it with.   The solid tools & holders were set up with family tables, including one multi-level table for all the holders.  This makes it easy for me to add the VERICUT_TYPE Holder parameter in a single place, but this results in ModuleWorks just showing the tool for 90% of the tools.   As far as I can tell, ModuleWorks pulls a revolved representation from Creo for the tool, but loads the .prt file for the holder.  So just the holders showed up originally

I have an assembly model that involves 2 sub-assemblies. When I add automatic BOM table the subassemblies appears in the table, while I need to add a BOM table to the assembly drawing covering all components ( main and sub-assembly).  Can anyone have a solution (BOM of all components and not subassembly names)?

I am modeling a throttle cable linkage mechanism and looking for methodology to incorporate the wire rope (cable) component.  At one end is the throttle body with associated linkages and the other end is a throttle pedal with its associated linkage, both being connected by a cable.
