Creo Modeling Questions

long time back there was wonderful software going by the name of Pro/Engineer for 3D modelling.what happened to it?it was powerful,it was logical,had lots of capabilities,when ever you thought this could not be done in Pro/E..there was the functionality.then every body started copying it...Solidworks,Inventor,Solid Edge...yes all of them...and now they say that these copied software's are better......yes surely...u just had to copy the main functionality and then tweak it..and say we are better..so original right.never mind....what i do mind is...Pro/E copying user interface...of these copied softwares..instead of building on there own functionality.why have you lost your confidence....PTC?

Allow an Annotation to be related to another annotation/weldnote.Isn't this done by selecting Offset instead of picking a placement?

I could write a SolidWorks add-in to do this in about a minute, but I don't know the Creo API yet. Does anyone know if there is an option to do this or an existing add-in? I didn't mind the Window menu from Wildfire, but the tiny icon in Creo is inconvenient.Thanks

I have a table that I have been using that has "&todays_date" which has been working well and shows the date as 10-MAR-15.I copied this table over to another table, but similar and when I go to use this new table with "&todays_date" it works also, but shows the date as Mar-10-15.How do I fixed the format of the date when they are both "&todays_date"Thanks, Dale

When I open *.x_t file in the Creo 2 I received solid model.When I open the same *.x_t file in the Creo 3 I received faced model.How need change setting in Creo 3 to receive solid model after opening *.x_t file?

What does the TBD mean next to red, green, and yellow regen status lights ? (see attached jpg)

Short question:Is there any way to make Creo run a mapkey when opening a file?

I have created a channel using boundary blend command. For this purpose I used two longitudinal curves and seven sections as shown bellow. The starting section is circle and the last one is almost rectangular.When I use boundary blend command to create channel, lots of lines were appeared on the quilt( see figure bellow). Does anyone know how I can remove them?

Hallo zusammen,im augenblick habe ich irgendwie ein Brett vr dem Kopf.Selbst die beigelegte Onlinehilfe gibt mir keinen Aufschluß.Ich habe mehrere 3D-Kurven (Geraden und Bögen), die ich zu einer Flächeformen möchte.Ich schaffe es nicht eine Verbindungslinie zwischen den auf verschiedenen Ebenenliegenden 3D-Kurven aufzubauen, geschweige eine Fläche zu erzeugen.Ich bevorzuge Express 4.0, kann aber auch mit Express 6.0 arbeiten.Zum Verständniß lege ich 2 Bilddateien und die Expressdatei bei.Mit Gruß Werner

I am working on a lathe post for the first time in a while. Our lathe offset command needs to be 6 digits, tool nose radius, tool number, offset number like T010101. Is there a FIL command to make the 4 digit number repeat 2 more digits like the previous 2?
