Hello, A client told me they require Wildfire 5. I have Creo Elements/ Pro 5.0installed. The download page shows this: cid:image001.png@01CCC557.6643FCA0 Are these really different versions? Are they compatible in bothdirections? Thanks a lot. -Nate

Hi, I am using Proe 4, similar to Creo. I am trying to create a standard hole with my desired diameter but I don't know how to change the diameter. Under the 'Shape', the diameter can not be changed. Anyone has any idea?

Has anyone noticed an increase in file size when moving from Wf 5.0 to Creo 1.0 Parametric M010 & M020? Some of my models have grown by a factor of 10 and has caused my PC to use up all 8Gig of RAM and files sizes of in the range of 400mb to 2 gig. Anyone have any ideas.Thanks

Thumbnail viewer is installed, but Pro/E has decided to annoy me with messages about it again. Does anyone know how to tell it where to go with it's messages?Thanks

I can't seem to create an approximate curve in my skeleton model. Is this a limitation imposed by PTC? Any suggestions of how to work around this?Cheers!

I have a table in a drw that the user defined functions keep disapearring. You can repopulate and then scroll your screan in and out and the data disapears.

Why can't I group published features in my skeleton? I have found a work around where I create another group and then do edit definition on it... but that is not a preferable way, and I don't know if there is any other reason for not being able to group the published.

I know this may be a bit of a rant, but I strongly believe there is a fundamental lack of attention to a very critical issue all us "Pro/E and Creo"Users continue to face. I felt a post on the CAD forum was appropriate.For me, Igave up on asking for "help" from PTC resourcesover 15 years ago. I still look down at my shoes and shake my head each timeI encounter the lack "Help"within our software.Look at the attached image and tell me why we continue to accept such unacceptable things like this?This is not an isolated issue. You can find Help road blocks EVERYWHERE within the Help Center. In many cases we are given directions to a road that no longer exists! in this case, this is"OLD Pro/E" directions.This have been an issue since the very first day I started on Pro/E....that was 1989! today got a chance to take my hand on Creo... it was not good at first site as ui is totally changed and hv to click more, plus i love my meanubar which is gone now why i love it? cause i often uses keyboard which is quite important to me to work fast. meanubar increases speed of my work. anyways i hv a problem which i dont hv before. i hv trouble to change the pen_line_width in creo. by defult it is 3 and i want it to be 0.5 but creo doesnot changes value. why is that??? i tried 1,2,3,4,5... and value change is creo donot take pen_line_width in decimals why is that?? or is there anthting else that i hv to do first?

I recently bought the student version from ptc store got the dvd installed it and then bought the elearning library. Used proengineer a few times then then next time i tried to open it nothing happend the icon would stay lit up for a second or two then nothing so I tryed running as admin same thing happens.so I tried reinstaling it and still wont start. tried running in different compatablity modes but it was working before that with no problems but just incase. I am running windows 7 home I dont know what to do now. I sent a email to - a few minutes ago hope they can help me out or you guys thanks

Does anybody have Creo in production yet?Creo definitly solves some issues that we have had with WF5. We have been testing and playing since F000. So far all of the areas we care about seem to be fine and we are seriously looking at making the leap.I always appreciate other Creo Users input.Joe

Hi, Creo folks.Recently, the Creo Elements/Direct pages and Creo Elements/Pro pages on Wikipediahave been marked with a ‘proposed deletion tag’. RMB "Query select" has nearly become a standard method to dig through adatabase- even the largest.... When using other CAD systems, I findmyself trying it even though it's not applicable.... Let's throw some fuel on the fire! When I walk up to a display where theuser has pre-highlighting on, my first impression is "We gotta' rookiehere..." Has anyone come across mapkeys not working in Creo 1.0 due to the change in format from drop down menus to "tabs"? I'm thinking it has to do with the main_dlg_cur command being void due to the change over?? Can some one confirm this and let me know an alternate command to use....if so?Thanks
