Creo Modeling Questions

Hi all,I may be dating myself, but remember this guy - Pro/Man?Does anyone have a more, um, human looking model? I have not played with Pro/E Manikin at all. Maybe there is a handsome 50thpercentile dude someone can share? Or maybe a dudette? I really only use him occasionally for scale purposes. A standing pose isadequate. Thanks! -Nate

Why is there still so little information about Creo 1.0?After the months of hints and suggestions before the release I was expecting to overwhelmed by the deluge of video demonstrations of the software on the day of release. But all we get are videos of slightly tired looking PTC employees talking about the software with very little in the way of demonstrations. There is a post over on MCAD Central that shows more of the actual software than PTC's own website. PTC have hardly updated their website since release.Sam

I'm trying to display the dimensions of a sketch using the show annoations tool. I can show the dimensions on a view using the master rep, but i need to be able to show them on a different representaion of the model. When I use the show model annotations on the different rep, nothing shows. Anyone know how to get the dimesions to display on a representation thats not the master rep?

I'm curious to know if anyone has some examples of what they have done with watermarking in Productview. I'm trying to work with the watermark editor and the documentation that comes with it and it's not very robust. Like some of PTC's products, it doesn't look as if this UI has ever been updated. If anyone has used this successfully to create nice professional and consistently placed/sized watermarks, I'd be interested in hearing from you. Our goal is to push these from the server to the end user.

Does anybody know why communication between a CAD worker and Windchill would suddenly come to a stop causing all publishing jobs to fail? All services look like they are running properly but for some reason Windchill can no longer find an avaliable worker. I know how to resolve the issue quickly but I just do not understand how or what makes this happen.

Anyone noticed that a Quality Agent got installed when you installed Creo.It collects data from your system and sends it to PTC, so they can more easily troubleshoot problems.I don't see any help page in the utility itself and no mention of it on PTC's website.I'm concerned about what data it's collecting and if I have a chance to review and modify before sending it to PTC. Gurus,Is anyone out there creating windshields? If so what techniques are being used to make sure the curvature is nice and smooth, especially on the edges? Last week at the closing they said we would receive an email with a link to a survey, and after filling it out get a link to download the presentations.Anyone get that email yet?????My general grip about this is, in the past we were able to download the presentations beforehand. This allowed you to cull though them and decide which would be the best use of your time. This year we couldn't do that.Also didn't like that there was no voting on the best user presentations. Hello, I have inserted UDF using default orientation(Adjustment->flip) , now I am looking for a option/way to change these orienation. I am not finding any option to do so.First thing I would like to know Is it possible to change UDF orientation once it is placed? if yes How can I do that? Thanks

I have successfully meshed a Pro/E structure within MECHANICA in the independent mode of operation. I could not get a successful mesh in the INTEGRATED mode of operation so I recreated my structure within MECHANICA itself. It DID CONVERGE without problems. HOWEVER, I cannot access the RESULTS. I know how to view results in the INTEGRATED MODE, but something is different in the procedure for the INDEPENDENT mode.Can anyone counsel me? My HELP menu does not operate in the INDEPENDENT mode so I have no direction. That is another matter as well, why does the HELP menu not work in INDEPENDENT mode?ANSWER my 1st ? & I will be HAPPY & if you know the answer to the 2nd then I OWE you a PAYCHECK or at least PTC does!!!!!!!!!!!!!regards, jeff
