Mathcad

Hello. I was trying to plot some level curves by using contour plot command (see attached file). When I define some variable "C", the plot works fine. But when I assign a range to the "C", the level curves fails to plot. Why the plotting fails? Best regards,Sergey  

In the student version of the product, I can't open a file I worked on in one computer on another computer. Is there a solution?

The problem is the R loop solve 2 instead of 1 and the Vx loop solve 2 instead of 3. What’s the problem?

With the four equation evaluated symbolically I am getting results for 3 but the same is giving result as 0 for the last equation any idea?

Hi everyone! New to posting here. Only slightly less new to MathCad as a whole. I am using a matrix with unitless values, multiplied by a constant that has attached units. The resulting matrix shows units, but it won't allow me to change them. The constant's unit is a force, in tons, and the resulting matrix shows pounds. I was only able to alter the style/number of units displayed.  A few points to clarify: I don't believe I can attach the sheet (work reasons), but if I have not provided some necessary info, I can add more images or provide detail. I have read some of the debate about units in MC on these boards. If the goal I am after in not attainable, that is fine, but I am here for specific information/knowledge. It is not up to me to rework the entire sheet to not include units then append them at the end, or something like that. I just need to know if we can change what we see now or no. I have two questions about the attached worksheet:1. I am trying to calculate two functions in two different ways: One by using a program, the other using the step function. The program gives expected results and  for one of the functions, the step function expression agrees. For the other, it does not. Obviously, I am doing something wrong, but I cannot see what it is - I  thought I set them up in the same way.2. When I eliminate an argument from the function, that I do not think is used, I get an error with "augument". This is something else I cannot understand.

I am unable to get a proper plot in mathcad prime 

As per the original Post..    Luc…   This is very interesting and elegant.  It turns out that I have an application for your method as well.  However, I have Prime 5 and can't read your Prime 6 file, and the image you posted is cropped on the right end.  Could you post a full image so I can recreate your solution in Prime 5?  Thanks.   Fred

Is there any quick and easy way to generate Binomial coefficients with Mathcad 8.0?  Or do I just use the definition?

We recently switched all users to Mathcad Prime Release 7.0 and Datecode7.0.0.0Here are the errors that we are facing"Parent application is busy: can't save. Make sure that all dialogs are closed and try again."Once we were able to trace it back to BlueBeam PDF printer, but other times, nothing. Can "Save As" and move forward but it is a recurring issue that affects multiple users. What causes this? How to avoid.

I have an array with values and I want to extract the rows, from a different matrix, that correspond to the values of the array. Any ideas on how that is possible? Right now the row extraction command (CRTL+SHIFT+r) will only accept integers. Thank you in advance

Why I am getting solution in terms of  ω 

I have installed the MathCad 8.0 Prime trial version. However, when I navigate to Input/Output tab, the XMCD, MCD tab is under intensified. I cannot convert files from an older version. The license file states it is a fully functional license. How to enable convertions.

The book that came with my original purchase of Mathcad 15 indicates "This is the full unexpiring version of Mathcad" (Ref. Brent Maxfield, P.E., Essential Mathcad For Engineering, Science, and Math, 2nd edition, Academic Press, 2009, Page 3). The quotation marks means it's verbatim from the book, by the way. Yet every year my license expires and I am forced to go through this exercise with PTC once again. Now the PTC website says my trial has expired, which is absolutely not true. Please provide me with yet another expiring license for my unexpiring version of Mathcad 15. This is for my home computer. I have a yearly subscription fee paid subscription for Mathcad 14 (JG140805EP0020-JTQB-VCY7) on my work computer that I cannot use at home except through a VPN connection. I need my unexpiring home edition for when I have to work at home. I would have used my home Mathcad account, but PTC has locked me out of that account. Why do you hate me?
