Mathcad on an Apple PC

I currently use Mathcad 15 running on Windows XP but am considering upgrading to a more modern operating system.

Can Mathcad 15 be successfully loaded and operated onto an Apple PC? A search on the net seems to be saying that there are problems with this.

My other choice is to upgrade to a PC with Windows 7 or Windows 8.

Any advice?

A lot of me students have (has?) Mathcad on Apple PC and no problem
