If your going to Vegas next week maybe we will see each other….  I recently called an old engineering buddy of mine and asked what he was working on these days. He replied that he was working on “Aqua-thermal treatment of ceramics, aluminum and steel under a constrained environment.” I was impressed until, upon further inquiry, I learned that he was washing dishes with hot water under his wife’s supervision.

After false spring, we are heading into late winter this weekend. Hosting a pizza and game night Saturday evening at our church. With a malts 'n mixin' chaser. Road tripping tonight/tomorrow to see if we find some sun and some warmth. Today reminds me of the ethylene glycol boilers I designed for a previous employer whose sole work was to boil liquid natural gas on very frigid day when the natural evaporation process wasn't fast enough to fill the gas pipeline.   Stay warm out there!   Lawyers don't hunt elephants, but they do follow the herds around arguing about who owns the droppings.   (To Be Continued…)

Frigid in the mitten, yet warmed by the lake. 0 and below this morning with sub zero (F) wind chills. Much colder west of the lake. Snow squalls along the lake. Stay safe.
