Did you know that you can now get certified in Windchill and ThingWorx Kepware? These Fundamental Certifications are now available on the PTC University website, where you can prove your product expertise to stand out amongst your industry peers. Each exam is 90 minutes long, and can be taken regardless of if you've taken any PTCU training courses (though we definitely recommend that you do!).    Have you gotten certified yet? ThingWorx Software Content Management (SCM) is now integrated directly into Azure IoT Hub. This allows devices that are connected with Azure IoT Hub to use the power of SCM as if they are connected to ThingWorx directly. Our goal is to help our customers improve their service organizations through this new enhanced functionality.   Have suggestions? In the course "THINGWORX FUNDAMENTALS CURRICULUM FOR DEVELOPER", I am not getting the 2 modules completion credit.. I Have compleetd the modules, but am not getting the 100% completion for that modules.. Below are the modules   1. Module 6 - IoT modelling with Thingworx 2. Module 7 - IoT UI development with Thingworx

Did you know that configuration changes made to the model tree are automatically saved to the user's creo_parametric_customization.ui file? This includes modifying the display of model tree filters, column widths, and the display of columns. Because these settings are saved to the user's customization file, they remain in subsequent Creo sessions that you launch.   What kind of settings do you find most helpful or do you use most often?     

Hey, PTC.  Have you ever watched a user who has been through PTC University try to use CREO?  You'd find it enlightening...and very concerning.  Your user interface is as complex today as it was in Pro/E 2000 and is not intuitive.  If a competent engineer with decades of experience in solid modeling can't sit down and figure out how to create a feature, your interface is too complex.  If you watched me, or any other competent SolidWorks user, try to use CREO (after completing PTC University training), you'd learn a tremendous amount that you could put toward a better user interface.  You'd see us struggle to know what to do while CREO holds us captive creating a feature with no indication of where in the interface to provide information that we know CREO is waiting for, for instance. You'd learn that the way you allow feature creation (a plane, for instance) is not intuitive and doesn't allow simple but powerful on-t

Did you know that you can set the language used by Windchill independently from your browser language? For example, if you want to use Windchill in English while using German as your language default for your browser, you can simply select Language Settings from the My Settings fly-out menu.   Are you excited about this Windchill feature? Has it made your learning experience easier? 

Did you know you can dynamically search and filter model tree nodes as you type, making searching for text, conditions, query types, and wild cards easier? Just started playing with this (elements) an using the tutorial. After the fist coulple lessons I got this error...'vport1' frozen due to Graphics Error!Tried searching for a thread about it but the only one was in a language I don't speak.Any help would be appreaciated. I'm testing out the free version to see if I want to go to the paid version.Did I do something, or did I not know you go a limited number of sessions before having to pay?ThanksCraig

Hello,   In Creo Schematics for a particular component, how is the block, circuit and wiring drawing linked? If I place all three drawings on three different types of sheet as mentioned and select the co shapes then all three are visible on the pop up window (see the attached file). However, if I modify any one drawing then the other drawings are not updated automatically, I have to manually update every associated drawing.

Actually I'm looking for more details about the sum function in Apache Hive. Until now, I understood that I can specify the number of digits after the dot: val DECIMAL(18, 3) But what I can not find is the precision scale in case of the sum. If I add 2 decimals with a precision scale of 3 for example, what will be the return of the sum function? My precision scale will be preserved? The result will be truncated Hadoop Hive Training or rounded? What have I missed?

I'm trying to reverse the zip direction of an axis system in CATIA, using VB.Net. I tried the same in the VB6 editor inside Catia and it works. In VB.Net it doesn't. I also tried to create a new axisSystem and I wasn't successful. I don't know what to do
