This panel included Windchill Admin experts from Cummins, Enerpac, and Raytheon who shared how each of their companies applied strategies to overcome common challenges such as project constraints, solution implementation processes, end-user adoption and more to achieve their business goals.

Change Management process needs can vary in scope and scale based upon an company's needs and stage of the product development cycle.  It is important that a Change Management process easily maps to these needs.   This session highlighted new flexible Change Associations in Windchill 11 specific to managing engineering changes in order to support a broad range of business process needs.   For example, if you need to connect your Problem Report to a Change Notice the new Change Associations can do this with simple configuration.  The session covered how the Change Associations can be used, and cover what to know for both new as well as migrated installations including workflow, reporting and more.

Connecting Windchill PDMLink to the ERP system is critical for an efficient flow of information between development and production. Based on a short live demo, the presenter showed a typical scenario of how an integration connects Windchill PDMLink objects with SAP data and the benefits of an interface between the two systems and the technical requirements needed.

Hi all,   I am new to this so please be patient.   Below is a macro I created. I have added statements to explain what is happening throughout and It works fine if I load a CGM into isodraw and then run the macro. The problem comes when I call the macro from the batch process tool. That's where it crashes and burns. I have also tried running this from the command line but the same thing happens.   It is pretty clear to me that closing the document is causing the batch tool to go down. So if anyone knows some extra code I could use to just loop within my macro the number of times, equivalent to the number of CGM in my source directory I think it would do the trick. Any ideas would be appreciated.   One other question: is there a line of code I can use to lock and unlock certain layers?   Cheers   Macro test   #Save original document number as string. Hi all, I want to find find vaule of a dimension. This dimesionsion belongs to a feature that is in a group. I use method IpfcModelItemOwner.GetItemByName(epfcmodelitemtype.epfcitem_dimension, "abcd").  This code looks for the dimesion outside the group, but I need to find dimension which is inside the group Please share your thought on this.
