Should bring along some extra bright orange. Fall has settled into Michigan after a prolonged summer. Temperature finally in the 60's for Highs. Time to get things ready for the wood stove since it is getting into the low 40's at night. Azure is such a vast platform, and understanding its core services can be a bit overwhelming at first. WOW! It's August. The summer is flying by. Take time to enjoy moments and memories with the ones you love.     Progression of engineering education:   A good planner needs to know at least a little bit about a great variety of topics.   Engineers often succeed by specializing.   So planners like to say that over time, planners learn less and less about more and more until eventually they know nothing about everything.   While engineers learn more and more about less and less until they eventually know everything about nothing.

Last Friday in July. Wow, time flies. Better fit in some more summer before summer slips into fall...     What happens if the average number of bullies at a school goes up?   The mean increases!

So how is your summer going? Fast? It's hard to believe that we are over halfway through summer. What fun things have you done so far? Any big plans for the rest of the year.        I just learned that sulphuric acid should never be left in a metal beaker.   It’s an oxidant waiting to happen.

Having several short weeks in a row.... I could get used to this real quick. Heading up north to do some freighter chasing this weekend. He started out tanning leather at the local tannery and retired a VP of Engineering at an automotive supplier. Graduated from night school with a BA in Business when he was almost 50. Unfortunately passed away 1.5 years after retirement. Being a tail-ender, I didn't get to know him very well since I was 24 when he died. Enjoy some thoughts.

After almost 15 years at my current job, I will be leaving it at the end of May. However, the community does not get rid of me that easily as my new job as a Windchill/Creo System Application Specialist at another company begins on June 2. The best part is I do not have to move as my new job is also in Oak Ridge.   If you know of anyone who wants to be a Windchill/Creo Application Specialist in Oak Ridge, my current employer is looking to hire someone.
