Wonky!! My wife and 9-year-old used "wonky" to describe one of the Wii remotesover the holidays, and it's somehow become the word of the month. Sorry, I'm just now getting caught up to all the adepters postings...
Did something change on the server a couple of months ago that would make the Adepters list manager (or whatever the server software is called) not email an Adepters posting back to the originator? For some reason, for a while now I haven't been seeing my own posts on Adepters. I see any answeres to them, but not the original. Maybe it's some screwed-up Outlook setting or something, but I doubt it.
Is there a way in ACL to tell whether or not a given OID is a required element (by the DTD)? I can't find anything about it in the Help. Required attributes I can find, but required elements, no.
It's under threat of deletion as "not notable" and is really only astub. I'm not a writer, but added a little bit, mostly citations. I'dlike to enlist the rest of you to contribute content.
I'm tracking down problems with using the Army LOGSA v1.5 XML stylesheets in Arbortext 5.4 M020.I've tracked down a problem with the PE crashing on the tables stylesheet to a lack of an inherited table value. This happens in a couple of places with a couple different variables (rowsep and colsep that I know of so far). Can any of you see why $rowsep is losing its inherited value? The workaround at the moment is to give every single row a rowsep (ditto with colsep). Setting it in the table tag is not sufficient. Here is where it dies if rowsep = " with the error "Cannot convert string " to a double":<xsl:if test="(($frame" ==" 'all'=" or=" $frame="topbot" or=" $frame="bottom" )=" and=" $lastrow="0)" or=" <b=">$rowsep!=0"> Here's the code fragment that sets $rowsep followed by inherited.table.attribute template followed by get-attribute template <xsl:variable name="&lt;b">rowsep"> <xsl:call-template name="inherited.table.attribute"> <xsl:with-param name="e
I am trying to use Styler (5.3) with PE to atomically calculate this and plumb in the right amount of blank pages. To complicate things the blank pages are not the last pages in the book either. So I'm wondering if anyone out there has accomplished this task. I hear that 5.4 makes it easier to accomplish this but I can't switch at the current time. One last thing my stylersheet is xsl-fo.I asked this question a while back but the issue has come up again. I never really solved this before and would like to give it a go again. Thanks in advance and any help would be much appreciated.
can v6.x isodraw open v7.x files - completely or partially?
There's still some time to get your presentation ideas in. The conferencehas improved year-over-year since AUGI became PTC/User due in large part tothe folks who present and participate. Every year has been better than thelast. More people submitted presentations than the year before which wasmore than the year before that. The conference is the best place to connect with the others in thecommunity. If you're worried about travel budgets, submit an abstractanyway. Presenters attend free. Better to have the option later on. Come andtell us what challenges you had and what you did to solve them. Tell uswhat goals you had when you started and where you're going next. Please consider sending an abstract. We want to hear your story.---------- Forwarded message ----------From: PTC/USER World Event <">http://www.ptcuser.org/2010/registration.html><">http://www.ptcuser.org/2010/why.html><">http://www.ptcuser.org/2010/agenda.html><">http://www.ptcuser.org/2010/hota

I have some specialized DITA documenttypes. My starting point was to create a copy of the SMA Arbortext application and then create my own specialized bddocconcept, bddocreference, bddocbookmap etc. All DTD's are valid and creation of instances based on my bddoc DTD's is working correct. My problem is that if I drag a, for example, bddoccencept document inside a bddocbookmap the title and the type attributes are not filled. Also the Format attribute stay's empty. Futhermore: if I render the bookmap I get a error like &quot;Dita Reference &quot;xxx&quot; on topicrefelement in &quot;xxx.ditamap&quot; does not refer to refer to a dita/ditabase document. So I miss something, but what? Any ideas? Regards, Geurt
Hello all,I've got a bit of a problem, along with very little experience in Epic and wonder if anyone can help: The system I have uses Epic 5.1 with some java (and acl) customisations. I'm testing moving to version 5.3 and whereas the acl seems to work fine, the java doesn't seem to load. The java is in a sub directory of custom, but not custom/classes. The append_javaclass_path command with the location of the java is in the instance.acl file, so it should be picked up.As an example, this works in 5.1:$obj = java_constructor('GenerateId');$new_name=java_instance($obj, 'removeInternalTags', $name); but does not in 5.3. When I check I get the error [A30134] Cannot find the class GenerateId.All my classes were compiled using java 1.4 and I know Epic 5.3 uses 1.5, so I'm wondering if 5.3 can tell the classes were compiled using an older version of Java and therefore refusing to recognise them.Grasping at straws I'm thinking of recompiling everything using java 1.5 which will be a pain (for
hi allis there a way in arbortext editor (5.2 windows) to insert or change absolute graphic paths to relative ones?when we access graphics that are in a subfolder of the document, we get realtive paths. but we have to insert relative paths to access graphics in a folder structure like + project + documents + imagesso the path for a graphic should be ..\images\graphic.gif. arbortext editor inserts always an absolute path. since graphic_relative_path needs an absolute path to convert paths and there is always a different absolute path to graphics.any help is appreciated.frank
Hi everyone,I have a document that is located in a folder on my file system. In thatsame folder I have the DTD. If I open the XML file in Internet Explorerit does validate. If I import the XML Document trough Webtop it works!!!If I open the XML document in Epic and connect to the WDK Adapter. Onceconnected I browse to the location I want to import and selectDocumentum-> Create New Object menu. Then the "Epic Repository for Documentum/WDK Browser" window get thefocus and shows the import process but the browser hang at the label"Determining XML App category list...Which makes it impossible to import trough Epic.I have Webtop 5.2.5 SP2 with IE 6 and JVM 1.4.2_06I have configured the JVM to show the console Icon but the icon neverappears while using the Epic WDK Integration. Is the WDK integration use the WebBrowser VB control. If it is how doyou manage to use the Java VM since the control is Hard coded to use theMicrosoft VM (no longer available) ?ThanksBest Regards,Patrick LemieuxInter
